About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solar + BESS Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of utility-scale and commercial hybrid Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer Solar PV & BESS projects.
- Prepare electrical and mechanical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and BOQs.
- Perform energy yield analysis and system optimization using PVsyst, Helioscope, and HOMER Pro.
- Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, UL, and other applicable standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in Solar PV and/or BESS design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and HOMER Pro.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, energy storage technologies, and electrical design standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
