The Deputy Registrar shall assist the Registrar in ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of both academic and non-academic administration of the University. He / She shall oversee institutional compliance requirements, coordinate statutory and regulatory matters, and facilitate the conduct of meetings of various statutory bodies and committees. The incumbent shall also coordinate legal matters, maintain effective liaison with government departments, regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and other external stakeholders, and ensure timely submission of reports, returns, and compliance documents. The role includes supporting the Registrar in developing and maintaining transparent, accountable, efficient, and technology-enabled administrative systems and processes. He / She shall ensure proper documentation, record management, policy implementation, and follow-up action on decisions taken by competent authorities to promote operational excellence and institutional effectiveness.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

Candidate should be a PhD or Post Graduate with minimum of first class or an equivalent grade from a recognised university. Must have 20+ years administrative experience in higher education institutions out of which a minimum of 8-10 years experience as Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar. Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as UGC, AICTE etc. and accreditation agencies is a must.
