Position Overview

The Food & Beverage Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth across restaurants, bars, banquets, outdoor catering, corporate dining, and special events for The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. The role requires a dynamic sales professional with strong relationship management skills, market knowledge, and a proven track record in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or event sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Generate revenue through direct sales of F&B outlets, banquets, catering services, and special dining experiences.
• Identify and develop new corporate, social, and institutional business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel partners, and key accounts.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and site inspections.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.

Account Management

• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and key accounts.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event packages while maximizing profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline through CRM systems.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for new promotions, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Prepare market reports and provide recommendations to enhance sales performance.

Event & Banquet Sales

• Coordinate with Operations, Banquet, Culinary, and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Support planning and sales of weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings.
• Ensure client requirements are communicated effectively and delivered to Oberoi standards.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and revenue performance updates.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies, service standards, and brand guidelines.
• Achieve assigned KPIs related to revenue, client acquisition, and account retention.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 7 years of experience in Food & Beverage Sales, Banquet Sales, Hospitality Sales, Hotel Sales, or Catering Sales.
• Experience with luxury hotels, premium hospitality brands, or fine dining establishments is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce
• Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Relationship-building and client management expertise.
• Commercial acumen with a revenue-driven mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
