Role Description
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead the expansion of EduVerifi’s institutional partnerships across India and the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines strategic relationship building with direct business development and encompasses both domestic institutional partnerships and outreach to international universities and educational stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Identify, cultivate, and close partnership opportunities with Indian universities, colleges, and educational institutions. Build and maintain strategic relationships with international universities, assessment bodies, and migration stakeholders interested in credential verification solutions. Develop account plans and territory strategies that align with EduVerifi’s institutional growth objectives. Conduct product presentations and capability demonstrations to institutional decision-makers. Support the development of partnerships, memoranda of understanding, and institutional agreements. Track market developments in the education and skills assessment sectors and provide insights to inform product and strategy decisions. Represent EduVerifi at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings. Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless institutional onboarding and partnership success.
What we’re looking for:
Proven senior-level experience in business development, partnerships, or account leadership within the international education, skills assessment, or credentialing sector. Deep knowledge of the India education market-universities, regulations, institutional structures, and decision-making processes. Demonstrated success building relationships with higher education institutions, government bodies, or educational stakeholders. Understanding of international student pathways, visa processes, and education quality assurance frameworks. Ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop partnerships that create mutual value. Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities. Professional communication and presentation skills suited to institutional and government stakeholder engagement. Comfort working independently and managing multiple priorities in a growth-stage environment.
An MBA or advanced qualification in education management, international relations, or business administration is advantageous.
