About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead residential interior design projects from concept development to execution.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end design processes, leading junior designers, developing innovative concepts, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. This role requires strong expertise in residential interiors, client handling, technical coordination, and design software proficiency, especially in Palette CAD and AutoCAD.

The candidate will work closely with sales, manufacturing, site execution, and management teams to ensure design excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role is best suited for professionals who are passionate about interior design leadership, innovation, and creating impactful residential spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Project Management

• Provide creative leadership and direction for residential interior design projects.
• Guide and mentor junior designers to maintain quality and consistency in design deliverables.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and site execution teams for smooth project flow and execution alignment.
• Ensure design solutions align with company standards, customer expectations, and business objectives.

Concept Development & Innovation

• Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative interior design concepts.
• Research and stay updated with current industry trends, materials, finishes, and design technologies.
• Introduce creative and functional design ideas to enhance customer experience and market differentiation.

Design Execution

• Handle end-to-end design processes from concept development to final execution.
• Prepare and review:
• Space Planning
• Furniture Layouts
• Mood Boards
• Material Selections
• Technical Drawings
• Design Presentations
• Produce high-quality design deliverables using company-approved software and tools.

Client Interaction & Coordination

• Interact with clients to understand design requirements, lifestyle preferences, and project expectations.
• Present design concepts, layouts, and material selections to clients.
• Gather client feedback and implement necessary revisions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Technology & Software Proficiency

• Ensure strong utilization of:
• Palette CAD
• AutoCAD
• Other relevant design software
• Support the design team in improving software proficiency and technical capabilities.
• Encourage continuous learning and adaptation to new design technologies and tools.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all designs meet company quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accuracy in technical drawings, specifications, and execution details.

Strategic Planning & Process Improvement

• Contribute to long-term design strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities for design-driven innovation and process optimization.
• Improve workflow efficiency and design coordination processes.

Documentation & Project Records

• Maintain accurate documentation of:
• Design processes
• Project milestones
• Client approvals
• Material specifications
• Ensure design files and project assets are properly organized and accessible.

Required Qualifications

• B.Arch. or related Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Senior Interior Designer or relevant interior design role.
• Proven experience in residential interior projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful interior design projects and execution capabilities.

Required Software Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
• Palette CAD
• AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of interior design software and visualization tools.
